Located above the Book Cadillac, each space in this vibrant city condo was designed to feel like its own boutique hotel suite—distinctive, expressive, and inviting—while still flowing together as one cohesive home. The communal areas create a warm, grounded welcome, the emerald-toned guest suite offers thoughtful storage and a luxurious escape for visiting family, and the aubergine-hued primary suite is nowa bold sanctuary for Alan and Renee. Each space was carefully curated to reflect the family’s love for art, culture, and connection—with their personal collection of antique and contemporary artwork on display as a private gallery throughout.
Because the unit is located above a hotel, Concetti faced physical limitations with plumbing, electrical, and structural placement from surrounding units—challenges that became opportunities. From working around immovable outlets and concierge phones to fully gutting yet strategically preserving bathroom layouts, every constraint was embraced and elevated. A door in the primary suite was expertly trimmed into a muraled wall to disguise a needed access point, while combining the tub and shower allowed for a brand-new private toilet room. These thoughtful design moves transformed necessary workarounds into intentional, artful moments—resulting in a space that not only honors the architecture, but feels entirely one-of-a-kind.
