Concetti CEO and Principal Designer Rachel Nelson on elevating a lakeside home
Michigan Blue Magazine recently interviewed Rachel on one of our latest projects, New Nautical. When our clients added a second story to their Walled Lake home, they found themselves faced with some living and storage limitations in their master bedroom. In addition to functionality, they were looking for a solution that incorporated their love for lake life without going as far as hanging anchors on the wall.
As someone who was once told by an experienced Italian professor with ties to Gucci and Ferragamo that concepts (translated to “concetti” in Italian) were her major strength, Rachel couldn’t wait to subtly weave the essence of water into this project. .
