Soul Happy
Union Lake, MI
Emma Loudermilk
By grounding the project in Soul Happy’s mission, supporting children’s emotional wellness through mindfulness, movement, and meaningful connection, we helped refine the brand to simply Soul Happy (previously Soul Happy Kids Yoga), creating space for the full breadth of her impact with kids, educators, and community partners.
Visually, we translated that mission into a brand that feels both grounded and expressive. Watercolor textures reflect the fluid, overlapping nature of emotions, while intentional linework creates a steady throughline—symbolizing the tools and practices that help kids navigate those feelings with confidence. Inspired by Lake Michigan sunsets, the color palette balances calm and reassurance with energy and joy, giving Soul Happy a flexible visual system that meets children and communities exactly where they are.
The Challenges → The Design Solutions
The brand needed to speak to a very different audiences: school administrators, parents, and students of all ages → We created an energetic, flexible brand system that can shift in tone while staying unmistakably Soul Happy. A dynamic color palette and adaptable assets allow the brand to meet each audience where they are while clearly supporting the same mission.
