Interiors: Contemporary Master Suite

Through an awesome collaboration with Wayne State University Interior Design students we were able to convert a barren industrial loft space located above Detroit Denim into this light-filled urban oasis. We guided each student as they presented their individual design ideas to the homeowner. Student Sara Pupa’s concept was ultimately selected for incorporation into the final design and selections.

We were impressed by her ability to layer natural elements, lush textiles and an abundance of woven patterns to seamlessly blend our client’s laid back style with the exposed industrial bones of the space. The unique layout of the master suite, which minimizes visual barriers between the bath and bedroom allows for the gorgeous natural light to penetrate all the way through the space making it feel as spacious and grand as possible.
